Alumni Highlights
The grand opening of the expansion of Merket Alumni Center will be held Friday, Nov. 5, at the Merket Alumni Center on 17th Street and University Avenue. The reception will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Friends, donors and fellow Red Raiders are all welcome to attend the opening. The event will showcase the Peggy and Bill Dean Grand Reception Hall, the ballroom, the bridal suite, the alumni lounge, the historic president’s home, the two courtyards and more. Lavish food, great entertainment and Red Raider spirit will be at its finest. Drop by for a while or stay the entire evening. Everyone is welcomed to enjoy this long awaited event.
Join us as we honor Wayne James, Class of ’57, with the Distinguished Service Award. Wayne James is the former Texas Tech Alumni Association Executive Director.
