Join Us For A Matador Evening October 14

 

The Texas Tech Alumni Association will host its annual homecoming dinner, “A Matador Evening,” on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at the Merket Alumni Center.

This year's Lauro F. Cavazos award will be presented to Barbara and Mickey McKenzie. The Lauro F. Cavazos Award recognizes outstanding service rendered to the Texas Tech Alumni Association or Texas Tech University.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 and you can purchase tables for eight people at $700 (preferred seating) and $1,000 (premier seating). The $1,000 table will also come with a special gift. All proceeds go toward the Texas Tech Alumni Association general building fund.

The Texas Tech Alumni Association is also offering a corporate sponsorship for Homecoming Week 2011, which will take place during the week of Oct. 10-16.
