Alumni Association Announces Hiring of Regional Representatives
The Texas Tech Alumni Association announces the hiring of Beth Adams and Dayme Mullins as regional representatives. Adams will be working out of the Dallas office as the representative for the North Texas area. Mullins will be working out of the Austin office as the representative in the South Texas area.
Adams graduated from Texas Tech in 2003 with a bachelor�s degree in marketing. She was on the Dean�s List twice and was invited to be a member of Cardinal Key, Rho Lambda and Omicron Delta Kappa as a result of her academic performance.
Adams was president of the Student Alumni Association Board of Directors and worked in the Tech Traditions Gift Shop while she was a student. She was also a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, served in the Student Senate as a Senator-at-Large, was selected to be in President�s Select and was a member of The Marketing Association.
Previously, she worked as an assistant manager of Animal Crackers in Southlake and was retail-marketing manager of Centex Home Equity in Dallas.
Mullins graduated in 2004 with a bachelor�s degree in public relations and a minor in exercise sports science. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and was named Member of the Year in 2001.
She also belongs to the Lions Club and was a member of the Student Red Raider Club. She was a very active volunteer, working at the YWCA, Children�s Advocacy Center, Adopt A Highway, St. Mary�s Gala, Legacy Play Village and the Children�s Miracle Radio-A-Thon. She participated in her sorority�s endeavor to raise more than $50,000 for the Children�s Advocacy Center.
While in school she worked at Hillcrest Country Club, Texas Tech Athletic Media Relations and ABC Sports. She has also worked as a marketing intern/associate at Macerich Company, which owns the South Plains Mall. She was most recently employed as an account manager for Terminix Commercial.
