Alumni Association Announces Staff Changes

The Texas Tech Alumni Association has announced three staff changes in its Lubbock office.

Chris Snead was promoted to Associate Vice President June 7 after serving as Assistant Vice President for the past four years. In addition to his new duties, Snead will continue to work as the Alumni Association's chapter representative for West Texas and New Mexico, handle the facility responsibilities at the Merket Alumni Center and the Frazier Alumni Pavilion and oversee the game day operations for the TTAA.

Brent Ross was promoted to Associate Vice President June 22 after serving almost two years as Assistant Marketing Director for the Alumni Association. Ross will be responsible for supervising the marketing and membership efforts of the TTAA, which includes managing the Alumni Association's affinity partners, coordinating advertising for the Texas Techsan magazine and working with the Student Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Another change in the TTAA's marketing department is the departure of Derrick Morgan. Morgan will be leaving the Alumni Association in late July to become the director of alumni relations and executive director of the San Jose State University Alumni Association in San Jose, Calif. Morgan has worked for the Alumni Association for six years, including two years as the TTAA representative in Dallas and the past four years as Associate Vice President.
