Texas Tech Alumni to Get Taste of Nostalgia,
New Features at 2005 Reunion
The Texas Tech Alumni Association will be hosting Reunion 2005 in conjunction with the Indiana State football game September 22-24, 2005. This will honor the classes of 1980 and 1995 as we hold the inaugural 10- and 25-year reunion.
During this three-day event, attendees will be able to see the changes to Texas Tech University with a tour of Jones Stadium, dinner on the concourse of the United Spirit Arena with entertainment provided by Cactus Theatre talent and a bus tour of the campus. This tour will have frequent stops, including a tour of the library and visitor's center and an ice cream break at Texas Tech's newest eatery, Cowamongous, located in the new Animal and Food Science building.
Some of the other events visitors will be able to enjoy include a mix and mingle with Tech dignitaries, breakfast at the Merket Alumni Center, a book signing of Tech Authors and the Legacy Lunch on Memorial Circle.
Although this event honors the classes of 1980 and 1995, anyone is welcome to attend. Guests are asked to R.S.V.P by August 15, 2005. Alumni Association members will receive discounted rates.
