The Texas Tech Alumni Association Invites You to the Carol of Lights Pre-Lighting Festival
The Texas Tech Alumni Association will host the second annual Carol
of Lights Pre-Lighting Festival Dec. 2 prior to the Carol of Lights festivities.
The festival begins at 5 p.m. at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion, located
southwest of Jones SBC Stadium. All Texas Tech alumni, students and members
of the community are welcome.
An assortment of food and drinks will be offered at the festival, including cookies, popcorn and hot chocolate. Santa Claus will make a guest appearance for pictures and to hear Christmas wishes. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will accept gifts for the annual Christmas charity, Toys for Tots.
The festival will also feature the presentation of a $1000 award to be used toward Texas Tech tuition for the Spring 2006 semester. The recipient must be attending Texas Tech in the spring to receive the award. Raffle tickets may be purchased for $1 from members of the Student Alumni Association Board of Directors or at the Merket Alumni Center located at 17th and University.
All present will have a chance to win door prizes, such as gift certificates to local restaurants, Texas Tech gear and tickets to Lady Raider and Red Raider basketball games.
