Alumni Highlights
Dinner With 10 Red Raiders
Beginning this semester, the Student Alumni Association will begin reaping
new networking benefits thanks to a new program, Dinner With 10 Red Raiders.
The idea behind the Dinner With 10 Red Raiders program is to build and strengthen
the Texas Tech community by creating an informal environment for Texas Tech alums
to make connections with students.
Dinners can range from a catered affair to a backyard barbeque, and they offer
participants a great opportunity to make new friends and valuable connections.
Texas Tech students, alumni and faculty come together as strangers and leave
as friends.
The dinner will be hosted on a first-come, first-serve basis. The first 10 Student
Alumni Association members who sign up for the event will reserve their spot
for the dinner. Dinner With 10 Red Raiders will begin in February.
Jeff Klotzman, news anchor for Fox34 in Lubbock, and his wife, Kim, will host
10 SAA members in their home Feb. 18. Klotzman received his bachelor’s
degree in journalism from Texas Tech in 1976 and his master’s in mass communications
in 2000. Kim Klotzman is a 1977 Texas Tech graduate with a bachelor’s degree
in business administration.
