Intern for Cory Chandler
Nicknamed, “The Protégé,” intern Ben Samples is often found loyally serving at the right-hand of his supervisor, Cory Chandler. Never failing to proclaim himself as the most ambitious and attractive male intern in the office, Ben seldom recognizes the fact that he is the only male intern in the office.
When not behind his Apple computer producing news releases and feature articles, Ben keeps busy with attempts to jump-start his Hollywood career by starring in several high-budget iPod films. His favorite part of the internship is having the opportunity to meet professors in various fields around campus, learn about their research and then tell everyone about it.
Before joining the office, Ben gained public relations experience while interning with Texas Tech’s athletic marketing office and Cancer Care Services, a Ft. Worth-based non-profit organization. Currently a senior public relations major, Ben’s future plans include moving to Colorado to pursue a career in corporate public relations. He enjoys spending his free time reading, idolizing Cory and tossing a Frisbee disc with his closest chums.
Ben’s favorite cereal is granola – yes he’s a hippy incognito.
