Claudia Valdez
Graduate Assistant
Claudia is the Social Media Graduate Assistant in Emerging Media for the Office of Communications and Marketing. She helps manage and compose relevant content for the university’s social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Foursquare.
Before working in the Office of Communications and Marketing, Claudia worked in healthcare marketing in Dallas. She received her undergraduate degree in Advertising from Texas Tech in 2010. She recently returned to Texas Tech to pursue her master’s degree. Claudia is an MBA student in the Rawls College of Business. Aside from working with the Emerging Media team and attending school, Claudia stays busy with her six-year old son, Julian, an avid football player.
