Sally Logue Post

Director of Communications and Broadcast Media

Sally Post

As the Director of Communications and Broadcast Media, Sally Post oversees all news releases and public service messages distributed by the media relations office. She helps inform the media across the nation about research being done at Texas Tech and produces marketing and recruiting videos for units across the campus.

Professional and competent, Sally makes sure the office runs smoothly and everyone has fun with her in-charge attitude and enthusiasm for the job. Outgoing and radiating control in any situation, Sally is the first to suggest getting pizza delivered on a rainy day or an office get-together to build staff relations. She likes getting to deal with so many people in so many disciplines in her position at Texas Tech. "I learn something new about the university every day," Sally says.

Sally loves reading mysteries, especially Jonathan Kellerman and Tony Hillerman. If she could be anywhere in the world, she would be on vacation with her friends in New York City, because she loves the energy of the city and the many museums.

Sally graduated twice from Texas Tech, with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in mass communication. Since then, she has worked with many of the media outlets in Levelland, Austin and Lubbock. Sally was a reporter for the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and editor of the Hockley County Free Press newspaper in Levelland. She was the news director at KLBK-TV, assistant news director at Fox34 News in Lubbock, and was the executive producer at KCBD-TV in Lubbock and KVUE-TV in Austin.

Sally hates breakfast cereal, but will admit to eating oatmeal on occasion.

Sally writes about administration news and announcements.
