Cassandra Rodriguez, citation appeals supervisor for Transportation and Parking Services, won the Raiders Who Rock award for the Community Service and Leadership category.
Every year, Cassandra volunteers to lead our office's March of Dimes efforts including developing fundraisers and leading the office for the March for Babies. She also volunteers for a number of causes, including the Walk for Autism Awareness and CASA walks and runs. Cassandra is usually the first person to donate when we receive our Toys for Tots boxes each year and brings not just one or two toys, but armfuls. At home, she instills in her children the importance of volunteering and selfless giving. She institutes the "25 Days of Christmas" where she and her husband and children do volunteer work in the community each day leading up to Christmas.
