Gale Receives HON Faculty Appreciation Award

Richard Gale, a professor of electrical and computer engineering, has been named a recipient of a 2013 Eta Omicron Nu (HON) Faculty Appreciation Award. Nominations were accepted from individuals and/or organizations on the Texas Tech campus, and winning recipients were selected for having qualities that exceed or stand out from other professors, among other factors.

Although not required to be in the Honors College, HON members must be students that are maintaining a 3.25 GPA throughout their involvement with the organization. HON serves primarily as a social and community service fraternity and emphasizes student involvement with the Lubbock community, the Honors College, Honors faculty, and other students on campus.
