Three Rawls Students Increase Diversity Knowledge at Conference

Three Rawls College of Business students recently attended a conference hosted by Ernst & Young (EY) to discuss the role of diversity in an ever-changing and global workforce. Nia Pierce, Billal Mekonnen and Denise McCray were flown to New York City to attend the conference from Jan. 8-10, which hosted 71 other universities from around the country. During the three-day conference, students had the opportunity to participate in informational sessions and panel-discussion from industry professionals. The students also were allowed to network with EY employees, professionals and students from the other universities.
