for Proposals (RFP)
The Request for Proposal (RFP) is a procurement method
which is used when competitive bidding is not advantageous or
practicable. Generally, this is used when factors other than
price are to be considered. Discussions are allowed with the
proposer and a Best and Final Offer is solicited.
