RHIM

Tourism has been characterized by its almost uninterrupted growth over time, demonstrating its strength as an industry that have a huge impact on the world's economy. International tourist arrivals worldwide have risen from 25 million in 1950 to 278 million in 1980, 674 million in 2000 and 1,186 million in 2015.

International tourism now represents 7% of world exports of goods and services, compared to 6% in 2014, since the sector has had, in the last four years, a growth superior to that of world trade.

That is why today more than ever, a career focused on the management and administration of tourism is an industry that will remain strong and continue to be one of the fastest growing industries in the world.
