The featured speaker was Dr. Alana Conner, Senior Editor of the Stanford Social Innovation Review who gave a presentation entitled "Think Like a Saint, Act Like a Scientist."

Administrative Challenges to Economic Growth in West Texas
Six panels covered topics such as rural development, transportation, workforce development, bio and related technologies, and community leadership. Participants included representatives from the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance, Wes-Tex Resource Conservation Development Area, Ports-to-Plains Corridor Coalition, WorkSource Development of the South Plains, South Plains Association of Governments, as well as local and state elected officials and administrators.
