Short Biography

Tracy Thomason works as a Development Manager for Tyler Technologies and leads a team of software developers, quality assurance specialists, and business analysts to develop a software package used by 1,600 municipal governments in the United States. Around 13.5 million citizens are impacted by the software package each month.

After working in the grain, cotton, and manufacturing industries for the first nine years of his career, Tracy began working at Tyler Technologies and spent 15 years as a developer, technical lead, team lead, and Scrum Master for a team developing computer aided dispatch and records management software for 200 law enforcement agencies across the United States. In 2016, he was promoted to lead the team that develops the Incode product, one of the largest software suites produced by Tyler Technologies.

In 2005, Tracy joined Toastmasters International to overcome an intense fear of public speaking. After overcoming the fear, he went on to become a professional speaker and published author. His first book, 15 Minute Mondays - Mastering Your Website Without being a Webmaster helps entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profits market themselves on the Internet. After serving in a number of leadership roles for the organization, he was elected to serve as one of nineteen members of the Toastmasters International Board of Directors in August of 2017. As a board member, he performs strategic planning for the organization to ensure it's future for over 350,000 members who reside in 141 countries.
