Texas Tech Troubadours
The Texas Tech Troubadours were founded, along with the new College of Visual & Performing Arts, in 2001. The TTU Troubadours are a service oriented group composed of a talented and select few from the School of Music and the Department of Theatre and Dance.
These individuals have the honor of serving in one of the most prestigious performing groups on campus and create a wide range of cultural arts experiences from opera scenes to square dancing. Whatever your need may be, there is a good chance the TTU Troubadours will be able to perform for you. The TTU Troubadours provide the University with everything from aesthetic enrichment to pure entertainment.
If any entity in the University has a special event that requires or would be enhanced by instruments, a quartet, a soloist, a comic scene or anything that falls under the broadest possible notion of performance, we will make every effort to meet that need. To make this possible, these services are provided at a modest fee that will be applied to a student scholarship fund for students in the College of Visual & Performing Arts.
Interested parties can contact Marilyn Arland with a date, time, place, and type of performance they have in mind. We will facilitate the staffing, scheduling, rehearsals, and other processes necessary to make the event a success.
