About Nnenna Freelon

Six-time GRAMMY® Award-nominee Nnenna Freelon is hailed as the "international voice of Jazz." She has earned a well-deserved reputation as a compelling and captivating live performer. Freelon received a standing ovation from 20,000 in her star-making a cappella appearance on the Grammy Awards telecast and has shared the stage or recordings with Jessye Norman, Herbie Hancock, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Take 6, Al Jarreau, and the Count Basie Orchestra among many other legendary performers. Jazz singer Nnenna Freelon is also a world-renowned composer, producer, and arranger electrifying audiences with phenomenal performances from Carnegie Hall to The Hollywood Bowl, the Monterey Jazz Festival to the Newport Jazz Festival, and from Montreaux to London.

Parking Arrangements
We greatly appreciate University Parking Services for their consideration of our patrons in agreeing to provide complimentary parking preceding our events. Parking lots that are available for complimentary use are R11 - the Band lot, R07 - the Administration Building lot, and R13 - the Visitor lot. Please refer to the map for parking lot locations. Please note that parking in handicap, service and reserved spaces until 11:00 pm is prohibited without a valid TTU parking or handicap permit.
