Judy Collins

About Judy Collins

Judy Collins’ career has spanned more than 50 years recording more than 40 albums, some with sales reaching gold and platinum status. She received a Grammy Award for Best Folk Performance for her 1968 song, Both Sides Now and winning Song of the Year at the 1975 Grammy Awards was her version of Send in the Clowns, written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway musical A Little Night Music. Collins has also authored seven books and co-directed the Academy Award nominated film Antonia: A Portrait of the Woman. In 2000, Collins founded her own record label, Wildflower Records - a grass roots artist driven label, with which she released her new CD Bohemian in the fall of 2011. Released to coincide with the iconic folksinger's 2011 memoir, Suite Judy Blue Eyes, Bohemian finds Judy Collins revisiting the late-'60s California music scene.
