Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Principal Professional Certification Preparation Program
Program Overview
The Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Principal Professional Certification Preparation is a two-year, 42-hour cohort program leading to completion of the M.Ed. and preparation for mid-level management and school principal certification. This program is designed to accommodate working teachers who are interested in pursuing careers as elementary or secondary school principals in Texas. Cohorts begin in the first summer session. The Superintendent Professional Certification Preparation Program is a 15-hour cohort program designed to prepare students interested in pursuing careers as public school district superintendents in Texas.
Program Delivery
Classes are delivered using one or combinations of formats including face-to-face,
interactive video conferences (IVC), and web-based instruction. Courses taught via
IVC will require attendance at one of the following off-campus sites -
TTU at Fredericksburg, TTU at Highland Lakes, or TTU Center at Junction.
