K-12 Courses, Credit by Examinations (CBEs) and Dual-credit Courses, and Texas Tech University Independent School District (TTUISD) - administered by the College of Outreach & Distance EducationIf you plan to enroll in a course or CBE, you should first check with your school counselor or principal before enrolling. To enroll in TTUISD's elementary, middle or high school, you must first apply and be accepted to TTUISD before enrolling in courses and/or Credit by Examinations (CBEs). Once you have been accepted, you must receive approval from a TTUISD counselor or administrator to enroll in courses and/or CBEs. Undergraduate Programs & Courses
Students wishing to pursue an undergraduate degree must first apply to Texas Tech University. Texas Tech offers both non-semester-based, independent study (administered by the College of Outreach & Distance Education) and semester-based undergraduate courses. Current enrollment in a college or university is not required to enroll in a non-semester-based, independent study course, but if you are enrolled in a college or university, contact your academic advisor to determine the applicability of these courses to your degree plan. Texas Tech University resident students must have their dean's or academic advisor's written approval before enrolling in a non-semester-based, independent study course. To register for semester-based courses, you need to first apply and be accepted to Texas Tech University as a transient student.
