Application Process
Step 1: Apply to Texas Tech University's Graduate School as a master's student. Indicate that your primary location code is "distance".
Step 2: Apply for a (MS)²: Understanding by Design grant-funded scholarship.
Step 3: Upon acceptance to the Graduate School and (MS)² Understanding by Design, you will work with a faculty advisor. If you are accepted to the Graduate School and the College of Education, but you are not awarded an (MS)² scholarship, you may still pursue the distance program of your choice using other financial aid and scholarship options. - Complete the Graduate Admissions Application form.
- The application fee is $50 for U.S. residents and $125 for international applicants.
- Forms include a teacher application, résumé, a letter of intent and two letters of support. See complete application instructions.
- Scholarship covers cost of tuition, course fees, a laptop computer and summer housing for eligible students. Payment of application fees and, if accepted, the cost of books as well as meals during the summer sessions will be your responsibility.
