Independent Study, Non-semester-based Courses (administered through the College of Outreach & Distance Education)
College students (with the exception of students pursuing a degree from Texas Tech University) are not required to receive approval, although it is suggested that they determine the applicability of CODE courses to their degree plans. Due to the academic signature requirement, students pursuing a degree through Texas Tech are unable to enroll online.
Texas Tech University students must receive a dean's or advisor's signature on the College Enrollment Form before enrolling in a course. Please note that the signature is only good for 10 days, so you must submit your enrollment to CODE within 10 days of obtaining the signature.
