Application Process
Step 1: Apply to Texas Tech University's Graduate School.
  • Complete the Graduate Admissions Application form.
  • The application fee is $50 for U.S. residents and $125 for international applicants.
  • Submission of GRE scores that are less than five years old is required by the Graduate School.
  • International students: you must also submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score to the Graduate School.
Step 2: Interview with the Program Coordinator.
  • The interview can be conducted either in person or by phone.
Step 3: If you are pursuing an emphasis in Principal Professional Certification, you must also apply to the College of Education. Step 4: Apply for financial aid and/or scholarships.

Step 5: Upon acceptance to the Graduate School and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, you will work with a Graduate Advisory Committee composed of three members to develop a degree plan.
