Independent Study, Non-semester-based Courses (administered through the College of Outreach & Distance Education)
Current enrollment in a college or university is not required to enroll in a non-semester-based, independent study course, but if you are enrolled in a college or university, contact your academic advisor to determine the applicability of these courses to your degree plan. Texas Tech University resident students must have their dean's or academic advisor's written approval before enrolling in a non-semester-based, independent study course. Semester-based Courses
Depending on the course you wish to take, you must first apply to Undergraduate Admissions or to the Graduate School to enroll in these courses. The following courses are offered online or at various sites. Check with your advisor to determine if you are eligible to enroll in these courses.
