The Texas Tech University Black Convocation recognizes, honors and celebrates the academic success and accomplishments of TTU's Black students pursuing higher education. Participation is open to all students graduating in the fall and spring semesters. The event is hosted by a student leadership team comprised of various students at Texas Tech University and supported by faculty and staff across TTU and TTUHSC.

The deadline for students to register passed. Interested students wanting to still receive a Kente Stole at the conclusion of the ceremony can email ttublackgrad@gmail.com ASAP to be placed on a waiting list.

• Family and Friends are welcome
• Graduates must dress in all black business professional attire
• Graduates must check-in by 12:30pm at the Kent Hance Chapel (next door to the Mckenzie-Merket)

TTU Faculty and Staff are encouraged to attend to support any students that you have contributed to their success or to support the TTU community. The deadline to RSVP for faculty and staff attending is May 1, 2019.
