First Generation Transition and Mentoring Programs provide first-generation college students with a community of support through peer mentoring and staff guidance. First Year Success of the First Generation Transition and Mentoring Programs serves students through the college transition process, academic support, and social connections.
First Generation College Student is defined as having neither parent or guardians having earned a 4-year bachelor's degree in the United States.
First year students are undergraduate students that have either never attended a university after high school or are transferring from another institution to Texas Tech University and this will be their first year at TTU.
Please complete the participation registration to join a community of First Generation College students, faculty and staff committed to your success! Join before August 2, 2019 to get connected before you come to campus!
Students can join at any point in time throughout their first year
