Presidential Lecture & Performance Series – Chris Gardner on “Happyness”. Chris Gardner, businessman, author, and the basis for Will Smith’s character in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness. During his presentation, Mr. Gardner recounted his experiences as a homeless single parent. He also gave some insights into the making of the movie.
