Amanda Foster
Assistant Director

Amanda Foster is the Assistant Director of the Institute for the Development and Enrichment of Advanced Learners (IDEAL) program, whose mission is to provide distinctive and unique academic enrichment programs that promote academic excellence, citizenship/leadership, diversity and an appreciation of the arts for children in grades kindergarten the 12. Amanda graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1997 and a Masters of Education in Language and Literacy in 2004. She is a Texas certified teacher for grades 1-8 with specializations in Mathematics and English as a Second Language Education.
Cindy Cisneros
Unit Coordinator

Cindy began working for Texas Tech in 2001 at Outreach Extended Studies, now University College. She moved to IDEAL in 2008 as a Senior Business Assistant but since has been made a Unit Coordinator. Her responsibilities include overseeing student assistants, payroll, registrations, reports, and preparing for all IDEAL events.
She coordinates events with K-12 students for Super Saturdays as well as summer camps that include Science: It’s A Girl Thing, Shake Hands With Your Future, Run On The Wind and the Texas Tech Summer Institute.
She graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in 2011 and is currently working on her Masters of Business Administration. When not involved with work or classes, Cindy enjoys spending time at the lake, traveling, movies and being a mom to her two daughters, ages 16 and 20.
