- South Plains Closing the Gaps Coalition—22 West Texas agencies, institutions, elected officials, and organizations have joined together to form this Coalition, which was started by the College of Education at TTU; currently the group meets monthly and has a mission statement, memorandum of understanding and special events to reach underrepresented populations across West Texas...with a goal of attracting more of these students to higher education.
- The College of Education recently offered office space to Raiders Rojos, which is the TTU Hispanic Alumni Association, a chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association. Since 4/01/04, Raiders Rojos has been operating from the Education Building, Room 166; the group will also have access to our building for conferences, meetings, and gatherings.
