Provost's Division
- The Provost’s Office continues to work closely with the Equal Employment Opportunities Office, the academic deans and faculty to advise faculty search committees and promote a greater awareness of AA/EEO obligations outlined in OP 32.16
- The Provost’s Office meets with faculty search committee chairpersons before recruitment is begun. In each meeting, the AA/EEO guidelines are discussed (OP 32.16).
- A check list is provided for search committees to use as they go through the search process. Attention to affirmative consideration of women and minorities is discussed (OP 32.16).
- Texas Tech participates in the National Minority Faculty Identification Program. Information about women and minorities receiving doctorates is shared with faculty search committees (OP 32.16).
