Visual & Performing Arts

  • The College of Visual and Performing Arts and its constituent units of Art, Music, and Theatre and Dance, have no formal Affirmative Action initiatives in place other than normal faculty and student recruitment efforts. The Department of Theatre and Dance has targeted for recruiting efforts, two high schools in the Houston area that boost highly diverse student populations, Lamar High School and the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.

  • Affirmative Action and Gender Equity are two topics to be explored in 2004.
