To reduce hunger and food insecurity among TTU students while encouraging campus engagement and education on how to reduce food insecurity.
Who can use the TTU Food Pantry?
The TTU Food Pantry is available to all currently enrolled TTU students. No proof of income is necessary to visit the food pantry.
How does the TTU Food Pantry work?
Students who need food are encouraged to visit the pantry to receive nonperishable food items. You will be provided with a reusable grocery bag to fill with items you need. The bag also contains a can opener and information sheets with additional community resources, recipes, and/or information about healthy eating. We ask students to return the bag after use in order for other students to reuse the bags.

Mondays & Wednesdays: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
How do I utilize the TTU Food Pantry?
Stop by the Food pantry, Doak Hall 117, during the published spring 2018 hours of operation and pick up what nonperishable items you need.
What if I can't visit the TTU Food Pantry during the spring 2018 hours of operation?
You can call (806) 742-2984 or stop by Office of the Dean of Students, Student Union Building, room 201, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, and we will take you to the food pantry to pick up items that you need.

Donations and Volunteer Opportunities
Does the TTU Food Pantry accept donations?
Yes, the TTU Food Pantry is always accepting donations. Donations can be dropped off at the TTU Food Pantry during the spring 2018 hours of operation or in the Student Union Building, room 201, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., every weekday. We cannot accept damaged, opened or expired items.
What kind of donations does the TTU Food Pantry need? Cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, crackers, canned tuna, salmon, chicken, and other meats, canned fruit, non-perishable goods, snacks, rice, beans, pasta (microwavable or non-microwavable) and pasta sauce.
We also maintain a Wish list from Walmart. Items purchased from this wish list will automatically shipped to the TTU Food Pantry.
