ECE3342. Electromagnetic Theory II (3:3:0). Prerequisite: ECE 3341 and MATH 3351. For majors only or departmental consent. General solutions for Maxwell’s equations. Traveling waves in scalar media. Boundary conditions and constraints imposed by bounding surfaces.

Course learning outcomes |
Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to analyze time varying fields problems, plane waves in lossless and lossy media, waves interacting with planar boundaries, guided waves, and antennas.
