Course Objectives: This course is designed for graduate students and will cover major aspects of nanophotonics. Format includes lectures, lab and reference search work, and students’ presentations.

Functional Materials

 

Course Objectives: Students in this course develop an understanding of the fundamental

properties and engineering principles of functional materials and devices: semiconductors,

polymers and soft complex materials, nanocomposites, and bio-inspired materials and their

applications.
