As an Program Director, Michelle combines her passions for writing and education to craft quality learning experiences for TTU K-12 students. Prior to her work here, she developed a first-year experience program for Texas Tech's Honors College, teaching students to become peer mentors and enabling them to find and seize extraordinary opportunities during their undergraduate years.

Michelle's desire for lifelong learning led her to earn a master's degree from St. John's College, studying classic works in science, literature, psychology, philosophy, math, religion, and art from their Great Books program in Santa Fe. After returning to Lubbock, she completed a B.F.A. with a concentration in ceramics.
