Upcoming Distance Education Conferences

Several conferences focusing on aspects of distance education are upcoming over the next few months. Conferences scheduled for April through June 2017 are listed below. TTU Worldwide eLearning has travel stipend funding available to help pay for conference travel expenses for faculty who want to attend these conferences or other conferences, or to present at conferences as long as the presentation focuses on online and/or distance education.

American Education Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting
April 27 – May 1
San Antonio, TX

This year's theme is "Knowledge to Action: Achieving the Promise of Equal Educational Opportunity." For faculty and administrators to discuss issues associated with equal educational opportunity, what that entails and how research can help in understanding and bring about change in this area.

US Distance Learning Association (USDLA) Conference
April 30 – May 3
Indianapolis, IN

The premier event for professionals in distance learning interested in ideas, technologies and content for supporting the development of distance education.
