The OLC Innovate Conference, held April 18-20 in Nashville and virtually, there will be a series of engaging hands-on workshops aimed at challenging teaching and learning paradigms. In partnership with the National University Technology Network (NUTN) and Texas Tech University, Open SUNY is hosting Dr. Kristina Mitchell of the Texas Tech University Department of Political Science in their April Fellow Chat. Dr. Mitchell will describe her study on Gender Bias in Student Evaluations and discuss the implications of these findings for the higher education community and then provide strategies for addressing this issue. She will provide instructional design suggestions for how to incorporate materials into online and face-to-face courses that might address this bias.
