OLLI Announces New Fall Classes

On August 25, 2016, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) will kick off a new semester of classes at Texas Tech University. Classes are available to anyone 50 years and older and can be attended in any of the OLLI affiliate locations – Lubbock, Fredericksburg, Marble Falls and Junction.

Membership in the organization is only $35 for the year, and members are entitled to additional benefits of membership including discounted access to the Texas Tech Rec Center and on-campus entertainment such as the Presidential Lectureship Series.

"We are especially excited about this semester's slate of courses because of the amazing variety, and the caliber of the distinguished instructors that will be presenting," said OLLI Director, Shelby Crews. "Our members will have over 50 courses to participate in; topics range from making your own craft beer to climate change. There truly is something for everyone included in this semester's offerings."

The OLLI Curriculum committee is always on the lookout for new and interesting topics for courses, so if you have a suggestion for a course or would be interested in serving as an OLLI instructor, please email Shelby Crews at shelby.crews@ttu.edu.
