eLearning Administrator Assigned Continuing Education Responsibilities
Oversight of Continuing Education was recently added to Worldwide eLearning's duties. As of December 15, Worldwide eLearning Administrator Otto Ratheal was charged by the Provost with the approvals and responsibilities associated with continuing education programs and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
These programs include the activities defined by Texas Tech OP 30.05, and include non-credit programs of three or more hours of instruction for which a registration fee is charged. This operating policy addresses the responsibilities of approval, budgeting, administration and coordination of continuing education programs that allow the university to comply with SACSCOC and Regent Rules requirements. Ultimately the offering of continuing education is the responsibility of the Office of the Provost, and responsibilities of the various units involved are detailed in OP 30.05.
Please be aware that a minimum administrative fee of 10% should be included in the planning of all applicable continuing education activities. Additional services or support provided by the Office of the Provost may result in a higher fee.
Please contact Otto Ratheal regarding any questions related to Continuing Education. Otto may be reached at (806) 834-3930 or email@example.com.
