Dr. Nish's research interests include transnational feminist studies, activist rhetoric, digital media, queer theory, and cultural studies. She is currently working on a book that uses transnational and rhetorical theory to understand feminist and activist uses of social media. Prior to joining the faculty at Texas Tech, she spent four years teaching rhetoric, writing, and gender studies courses at the American University of Beirut.
