Shon Bacon is a PhD candidate in the Technical Communication & Rhetoric program, focusing on race, gender, and identity in digital spaces. Her dissertation research examines the identity (re)construction and blogging practices of African-American mommy bloggers. Shon’s had a commentary published in Intercom and an entry published in the Encyclopedia of Social Networks. Currently, she’s the president of TTU’s STC chapter. TCR

Joshua Ryan Barron, B.B.A., M.B.A., is Texas Tech's Campus Advising Liaison and Director of University Advising. He believes that, with deliberate effort, people and organizations can positively impact every person and situation they encounter. Therefore, Joshua focuses his efforts on equipping, organizing, empowering, and supporting efforts to serve students, particularly through advisor professional development, training, retention intelligence, and technological innovation.

Leigh Bonds is a PhD candidate, specializing in 19th-century British studies and book history. She is a contributing editor to Romantic Women Writers Reviewed and has been the recipient of the William Bryan Gates Graduate Award, the Harold R. Hawkins Award for the Best Paper in Book Trade, and a scholarship from Rare Book School at the University of Virginia. She is currently the Letterpress Lab Manager and Assistant Project Manager for Texas Manuscript Cultures, a digital humanities project. NCS | BH
