Resources for Study

Texas Tech offers a number of on-campus facilities of particular benefit to film & media scholars, several of which afford students some creative and production experience:

• Multiple Literacy Media Lab (MuLL)
• Digital Media Studios (DMS)
• 3D Animation Lab

In addition, Texas Tech is home to the CNN Archive as well as a number of manuscript and media holdings in the International Cultural Center (ICC), the Library's Southwest Collection, and the Vietnam Archive, among others.

There are a number of off-campus organizations of interest to a film/media studies scholar:

• Lubbock Film Society
• Flatland Film Festival
• Basin Film Society & Desert Reel Film Festival
