The first installment of the Media Lab's Fall 2019 Workshop Series: Using Zoom in Online and Hybrid Classrooms. Topics included an overview of Zoom's basic functionality as well as tips for managing class discussions, navigating the Screenshare feature, making use of the breakout group option, and troubleshooting. Friday, April 26, 1 pm: Faculty and instructors! Dr. Gerdes and Media Lab Assistant Melissa Beal presented a workshop on teaching hybrid courses. They covered the technology and teaching strategies of teaching a hybrid course in one of our polycom-equipped rooms using Zoom.
