Biography
Thom Davis is the Associate Vice President for Financial Affairs & Controller at Texas Tech University. His responsibilities include oversight of the financial affairs area including managerial reporting, compliance and reporting, financial accounting and reporting, sponsored programs accounting and reporting, accounts receivable and student business services.
Prior to joining Texas Tech University in November 2005, Mr. Davis served ten years as Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for a private not-for-profit university, as well as Assistant Vice President & Controller of a bank, and as Manager with national accounting firms in Northern California.
Mr. Davis is a certified public accountant in the state of California and Texas and earned his bachelor degree in accounting and master degree in taxation from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California.
