Federal and State requirements are met and apply to Texas Tech University’s institutional financial aid eligibility by measuring student academic performance at the end of each payment period (period of enrollment) against the following qualitative and quantitative standards whether or not financial aid was applied for or received during any academic period in which the student was previously enrolled. Both standards, qualitative and quantitative, must be met for a student to be eligible for Title IV aid. Students who fail to maintain academic progress may lose eligibility for financial aid. In this situation, students have the right to appeal the loss of financial aid based on extenuating circumstances. |
