Greetings Texas Tech University Students!

Welcome!  Thank you for visiting the Red Raider Student Employment Center on-line job search.
We are excited to announce that we have made some changes to our job site to better serve you in your search for employment opportunities.  Students can now search for available job openings from one of two designated job sites:  Federal Work Study Employment and Part-Time Employment.
How will I know what type of job opportunity to search?  The following definitions will summarize the basic eligibility guidelines for each program.

Federal Work Study Employment

Students seeking employment through the Federal Work Study Program must be currently enrolled at Texas Tech University and have financial need as determined from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).All jobs are affiliated through the main campus.

Federal Work Study Program

Welcome to Texas Tech University's student Federal Work Study employment website. Our goal is to provide assistance to currently enrolled Texas Tech students who have need eligibility, as determined by the FAFSA, and are searching for part-time jobs to help pay their educational expenses while attending school.  Texas Tech colleges and departments are the employers who are searching for Texas Tech students to fill their part-time positions.  Any Texas Tech student who has submitted a FAFSA and has need eligibility as determined by Federal Work Study guidelines can use our free service.

To accomplish our goal, the Federal Work Study part-time employment office will:

  • Advertise job listings available to students and employers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Students may search for part-time Federal Work Study positions on the web.
  • Provide information about Federal Work Study part-time employment to students and employers.
  • Answer student's questions.  You may come by our office in the Student Financial Center located in West Hall, Room 205, e-mail your questions to student.employment@ttu.edu, or contact us by phone at 806-834-2919.
The FAFSA eligible student will locate a job of interest, note all of the pertinent contact information for that position and contact the employer and make an appointment to discuss the job opportunity.  Once the position has been secured, the student must obtain required employment documents from the Red Raider Student Employment Center located in the Student Financial Center, Room 205 of West Hall.

Part-Time Employment / RAIDERJOBS
Students seeking employment through the Part-Time Employment Program must be currently enrolled at Texas Tech University.  Financial need is not a requirement to use this FREE service.  Most available jobs are located off campus. However, some employment opportunities are located on campus and are not part of the Federal Work Study Program.
Part-Time Employment

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Texas Tech University Career Services to provide better job opportunities for you!  Our look may have changed but our goal has not.  RaiderJobs will continue to provide Texas Tech students the opportunity to search for part-time jobs on and off campus to help pay their way through school, and assist employers who are searching for Texas Tech students to fill their part-time positions.   And best of all, our service is FREE!

Any currently enrolled full-time or part-time Texas Tech student can use RaiderJobs, regardless of financial need and the service remains free.  By merging our two programs, we believe additional RaiderJob listings will become available, and for an added plus, students will become more familiar with the University Career Services website prior to using this service when seeking employment upon graduation.

  • Provide employers the option to post available positions directly to our web site
  • Answer student's questions.  You may come by our office in the Student Financial Center located in West Hall, Room 205, e-mail your questions to student.employment@ttu.edu, or contact us by phone at 806-834-2919.

All job opportunities listed from either service are available for you to search based on your schedule-24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Once you have located a potential job, you will take the contact information and set up an appointment with the employer to further explore your potential opportunity.
