Estefanía Luján is a research assistant at the Free Market Institute and a first year Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech University.
She earned her B.A. in Economics with a minor in Finance from the Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM) in Guatemala in Spring 2016. Prior to joining Texas Tech University, Estefanía was a teaching assistant at the School of Economic Sciences and Henry Hazlitt Center at UFM, and provided research assistance for projects focused on issues in Guatemala.
Her research interests include Austrian economics, economic history, institutions and economic development, self-governance and political economy.
