Michael Makovi is a research assistant at the Free Market Institute and a second year Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech University.
He earned a B.A. in economics from the Loyola University New Orleans in 2015, and
has also studied at the Machon Meir rabbinical seminary and at the Hebrew University
in Jerusalem, Israel.
His research interests include the interrelationships among Austrian economics, Public Choice economics, political philosophy, and ethics.
